Caney Puzzler Adventure Race

Race Director: Keith Pitman

The Caney Puzzler Adventure Race will be held at Caney Lakes in the Kisatchie National Forest in Minden, LA. Teams will bike, paddle, and run on the trails in the park and around the lake. The Caney Puzzler offers something for everyone. Both the 3-6 hr sprint and the 18 hr adventure course will have mountain biking, trail running, and paddling. As always we give racers choices for race routes and strategy. The ‘Puzzler’ will have Too Cool’s famous “skip point”. Teams that bring in 5 canned goods per racer are permitted to skip a checkpoint during the race. Donations directly benefit the local community food bank.

Sprint Race Teams of 2/3 (solos allowed), will run, bike, paddle and face team challenges and decisions along the way. This course is designed for the beginner in mind! Estimated winning time is 3.5 hours. Teams will receive pre plotted maps. This is not an off road Tri!! This is a real adventure race.
