Spread Your Wings Adventure Race September 4-6th, 2020 CANCELLED

Even though SYWAR has been canceled this year we are still heading to camp over Labor Day weekend to hang out with friends (socially distanced), relax by the river, play in the woods and recharge our Covid weary bones!

We have put together what we believe is going to be a pretty fun weekend.

After much painstaking deliberation we have decided to cancel this year’s Spread Your Wings adventure race.  Trust us, we didn’t come to this decision lightly.  For the past 14 years, SYWAR has been a special weekend that many of us have used as a time for family, friendship and kicking off the summer!  What often defines adventure racing and makes it such a special, unique sport are the very things that make it difficult with Covid 19 to put on a responsibly safe, quality race.

Camp Eagle will be hosting the last of the “Summer Weekends” over Labor Day.  The waterfront, kayaks and zip 850 will be open.  Climbers are welcome to bring their gear.  Mountain bike trails will be open.  Please check back for more info.  At this time we are planning on being at camp for the weekend, loosely organizing a few social distance activities, getting some much needed time away from what has seemed an incredibly long 2020 and hopefully hanging out (six feet apart) from friends.

… paddling in crystal clear waters, 14+ miles of sweet, sweet single track, mine mazes, drift trikes, water slides and much, much more. It’s summertime and Too Cool is gearing up to give you their funnest, coolest race yet. We always keep things fresh as well as have all the things you have come to expect from us and from Camp Eagle…tough as nails race, awesome shwagg, cool special tests, and more.

This is the race that you want to bring the whole family and stay for all the weekend activities; water activities, Family Fun Adventure Race, Murder Mystery Night Nav Race, Too Cool Game Show and of course one, bad ass adventure race! Come see why this is Texas’ most popular race!

Need childcare so everyone in the family can do the sport race on Saturday?  Choose childcare option during registration!
